IFSTAL 2017/18 Launch

posted in: Events, News | 0

On 19 October 2017 we launched the third year of the IFSTAL programme. Students, staff, alumni and external partners were invited to attend the event where we provided an introduction to IFSTAL and a taste of what we have to offer over the coming year.

The event was held simultaneously in Warwick, Oxford, Reading and London and included a live-stream portion where we had the opportunity to meet everyone from across the partner institutions (see live stream below).

Around 200 participants from a very wide range of disciplines and backgrounds came together and were treated to a variety of activities (depending on which location they had attended), including trying out insect canapés (to think about issues around sustainability), discussions around food labelling, consumer behaviour and the interlinkages of the various nodes of food system.

Thank you to all who attended, especially the new cohort who are already showing fantastic levels of enthusiasm. We are certainly looking forward to working with everyone over this coming year!
